I fed him a couple of burgers at the original Tommy’s on Beverly and Rampart. Next thing I know I’m calling friends to say “I have a pit bull in the back seat of my car!” Later in a flash I glimpsed a resemblance to Tommy Lee Jones…
ummm I think thats a bully stick and those are MUCH better for you :)

Edward G Robinson was an early collector of Frida Kahlo back when everyone else walked past her to get to Diego Rivera. Now if you stuck Diego with a cigar hanging off his lip into the mix, you'd sort of have a trio.

ReplyDeletesince you and some of your readers are acquainted with animal rescue groups, perhaps you might have some leads for poor poor Bastet and her owner.
She's a previous rescue (around 8 years) who currently resides in Altadena. Her owner is nearing the end (cancer) and the owners good friend is looking for a place for Bastet to land. She can't; alergies. She's super friendly so she'd be good with kids. Odd eye'd blue/gold and hearing able. She was an indoor outdoor cat (until the coyote incident) and she comes with the chair.
any suggestions?

PA, thanks for sharing that cool tidbit about Edward G Robinson. I'm delighted that you know it, although not surprised; you always have great obscure art facts. I only learned he was a big art collector in the past few days, while looking for the perfect cigar photo.
